Funny Guy...

Mommy thought the above painting I did was really beautiful, so she cut it up & made thank you cards.

A few things I have said lately that Mommy wants to remember -

We were about to play Uno & Mommy was passing out the cards. I said, "You want to hold the red cards Mommy? You're wearing red PJ's!" (I was trying to be subtle - it was time for Mommy to put on regular clothes since it was nearly noon :)

We were driving to Bible study & I said, "Mommy, is Daddy at Bible study?" She said, "No, he's at work." I said, "Well, sometime you need to take me up there so I can see what he do & see his 'puter'(computer)."

Kate was eating & I felt the need to give her instructions - "Don't get rice rusk on your bib! No mam!" Mommy told me this was not a nice way to talk to my sister.

Kate squealed REALLY loud & high-pitched. I looked at her & said, "Seriously, Kate."

H is for Helper!

I love helping Mommy around the house - one of my favorites is putting the silverware away. I also love to help with the laundry & collecting the trash. Something else has happened in the last few weeks! I have learned to sight read all the letters & I know all their sounds! One of my favorite shows is Letter Factory & it has helped me learn them! I love to find a letter, say it's name & then say it's sound! Such fun!

Showing off my new skill - Clapping!

One of my favorite activities - Watching big brother Michael! He is quite entertaining!

I am becoming such big girl! I get to sit in the stroller now without being in my carrier! I love it!

I am such a happy girl! I'm not crawling yet, but I play more contently on my tummy, so that's a step in the right direction. I LOVE to watch Michael & just stare at him constantly. I also love my jumper! I am eating baby food really well & like it all, so far. I also love puffs, now that I have finally figured out how to pick them up & get them to my mouth! Currently I am cutting my top 2 middle teeth. Mommy can feel the ridges of them - yay! I started clapping this month & I also have lots to say, whether it be da, ba, ga, or a really loud, happy squeal!!

Girlfriend Fun!

Mommy had fun girl time last week! Childhood friends, Elizabeth & Carrie came up to see Julie & her new baby, Asher. Daddy was so sweet to take a day off work to hang out with Kate & me, so that Mommy could hang out with her friends ;) They had a great time catching up!

Texas Weekend!

Last weekend we had a wonderful time with family in Texas. Mommy & Daddy took us to BB & Papa's house on Thursday evening. We had a yummy dinner at Red Lobster with BB, Papa, Grandma & Grandad. Kate was our entertainment - we thought she was really cute when she squealed happily. The people at the table next to us didn't seem to agree. After Mommy & Daddy got us in bed they enjoyed playing spades with Grandma & Grandad. Then they headed to Dallas where they had a little get-away weekend at the Westin Galleria. They enjoyed the Dallas Aquairium, going to the movies & eating out! On Sunday we had a birthday party to celebrate me turning 3 & Daddy turning 30! I loved being with all my grandparents at once!
