This Week -

Kate feeding Bunny & Michael feeding Bear - this has been a favorite activity lately!
I like this picture to help me remember this phase of life right now - moving boxes in the background, David having tummy time, Michael & Kate playing happily :) A crazy but exciting & happy time!!
Michael having fun in the dirt!
My mom is here to help us move. Love this picture of Mommom & Michael working on their laptops :)
"Look Mommy! I drew an animal!" So proud of himself :)
David sleeping peacefully - he has been clueless to all the moving commotion around our house right now.

Our First House

I am feeling a bit sentimental as we prepare to move in 3 days from our first home, the one we brought all 3 babies home to from the hospital. But we are incredibly excited about our new home & this next chapter for our family of five. Friday is the big day! Hooray!

David is 3 Months Old! August 11, 2011

David is doing great & we are so thankful! These 3 months have FLOWN by! There is just something wonderful about the 3 month mark - his crying & tummy troubles have settled down, he is getting into a much more predictable routine during the day & he is sleeping through the night, about 9 hours between feedings - Hallelujah!! He does great during tummy time & seems to be so strong. He rolls from his tummy to his back all the time. He laughed for the first time this week & has also started grabbing his toys on his playmat.

A Laugh A Minute...

that's Kate. Aunt Amanda & Uncle Matt mailed sunglasses in her birthday package & she has worn them constantly. Even at dinner. Some of the cute/funny things she is saying these days -
"I did it!" "Yay! I help you!" The way she says Michael - "Guycull" & Matthew (our dog) - "Bapew" "I don't like it." "ok! Just a second."
When I go get her in the morning the first thing she says - "A diaper change Mommy, a diaper change."
The other day I said, "Hi pretty Kate," & she replied, "Hi pretty Mommy."
She was playing in her room by herself with the door closed. I opened the door to check on her & she looked at me & said, "Bye Mommy. Bye!" A few minutes later I checked on her again & she said, "Have a great day Mommy! Bye!"
She is getting very good at repeating what we say. Now I can ask her, "Kate, when do we obey?" and she replies, "First time, every time." We also tell Matthew to get out of the kitchen quite often. He was in the kitchen yesterday during lunch & she said, "Out of the kitchen Bapew! Out of the kitchen!"
The other night after Kate's bath I asked her, "Kate, do you want to sit on the potty?" She said yes & sat down, acting like it was no big deal. She went right away & Michael said, "Mommy! Kate went pee in the potty! I'm so proud of you Kate!" She looked SO excited. She got up & jumped around, clapping her hands & saying, "Yay!"

Playtime Fun!

Michael has been making trains with his toy containers. The items he chooses to put in his train are what make me laugh - a random assortment of toys, our living room throw, his sippy cup, etc.
Mommom gave Kate these cute animal masks for her birthday & we have had lots of fun with them!

This pic makes me laugh - Michael so serious & Kate so upset (I have no idea what she was upset about.) Moments before this picture was taken we were having a great time having an animal mask tea party :) Oh the drama of age 4 & 2.
