Having fun with Mommy!
Mommy walked into the kitchen and found me stiring in my sippy cup with my spoon! I've seen Mommy do this in the mornings with her coffee, so I thought I would give it a try.
Easter Sunday - Not the best family pic, but it is the only one we took. After church we went to the Hively's house & ate a yummy lunch and then hunted Easter eggs in the backyard. It was a bit chilly!
I am really good at playing independently! I love to put my blocks in their container, pour them out, and put them back in again ~ over & over & over!
Yesterday I thought it would be funny to put on Daddy's t-shirt. I crawled over to it and put it on all by myself. I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but I put my head through the sleeve! :)
Mommy lets me play with all my sippy cups and tupperware. It is so much fun to pull out each piece and scatter them all over the living room!
Leaving the scene of the crime...I see something more interesting that I must go explore!
While Mommy wasn't looking, I pulled the tupperware off the table and ate the sweet potatoes all by myself -
Today Mommy's friend Julie and her little yorkie, Ernie, came over! I got to play with Ernie while Mommy & Julie painted.
Here is Mommy's painting, although she said she isn't finished yet. Julie's painting was really pretty too! I wish I had taken a picture of it!
I am eating my sweet potatoes with a fork! I don't know if Mommy has mentioned it, but sweet potatoes and bananas are my favorites! I could eat them for every meal! This morning at breakfast I ate a whole banana by myself!
Catching some zzz's.
Playing with my Hummer is so much fun!
Cool hair, huh? This was right before Mommy gave me a little trim. My hair grows fast!

Good News! Today I had a dr appt with a Pediatric Endocrinologist ~ a doctor who specializes in the growth of children/hormones/etc. Since I am a little smaller than most 1 year olds, my pediatrician wanted me to go. The good news is that I am healthy and my size is great! The doctor said that I am growing just right and will probably be smaller than my peers for a while. The average boy stops growing at age 17, but I will still be growing and will catch up with my peers later on. Today I weighed 17 lbs, 2 oz. Just 4 weeks ago at my 12 month appt I weighed 16 lbs, 6 oz.
