Mommy's Trip to Austin

While I had fun at Mommom's house, Mommy went to Austin to visit her friends, Carrie & Elizabeth, for a few days. Both girls are having their 2nd child in September, so they wanted to have "girl time" before then:)

On Monday night they went to Whole Foods, ate dinner at Threadgills, and went to Congress Bridge to watch the bats!Posing with the peppers, right before they were told that photography

On Tuesday, Mommy & her friends went swimming...

ate yummy dessert...
went to eat at Hula Hut...watched 27 Dresses...
& Mommy painted a tree on the nursery wall at Elizabeth's house. A great time was had by all :)

Tour de Texas

Mommy & I went to Texas for a week! We had so much fun! We had to leave Daddy at home to work:( & we really missed him.
Our First Stop - Arlington, TX at Luke's house. Mommy had fun with her friend Carrie, while I had tons of fun playing with Luke & his toys! We really enjoyed jumping

on the bed:)

Our Second Stop - Salado, TX at Po & Nana's House (Mommy's daddy) Po bought me a pool & I had a great time swimming & splashing!

Happy Father's Day Daddy! I'm SO glad that you are my Daddy! Thank you for always playing with me & taking care of me! You make life so much fun! You are the best!

A Fun Weekend!

I had so much this weekend with my grandparents & great-grandparents in Dallas. We played a lot & I kept them very entertained (& busy!:) I can't wait to see them again soon! While I was with them, Mommy & Daddy went to Nashville, TN to a wedding of one of Daddy's high school friends. They had a great time! Here are a few pics from the weekend!

All By Myself!

This weekend I climbed up the stairs to my slide all by myself! Daddy was right there watching me the whole time to make sure I didn't fall. As you can see in these pics, I was very excited & proud of myself!
Another milestone...I dropped my morning nap! I am a big boy & no longer need 2 naps, just one longer nap in the afternoon!

Mommy filled up my pool on Friday & we had a blast! I loved splashing! I was a little hesitant to walk away from the edge, but with Mommy's help I did great! Swim lessons are in my future!

I am 16 months old today! June 2, 2008

Can you believe that I am 16 months old!? Mommy & Daddy can't! I am changing so fast - Mommy & Daddy keep calling me a "little sponge." I am doing something new almost every day! I am talking ALL the time! Some of my words are: mommy, daddy, dog, baby, bye bye, ball, hi, oh & lots of "baby talk." I also love to do sign language - all done, more, water, milk, banana, nap, eat...I love to sign because it helps me be able to tell Mommy & Daddy what I want.
